Well I finally found a new topic..although its 10 yrs old, but still applies to today

When you ask a democrat why they dont support the war they say the following:

"Bush is the devil"

Then you have to ask them again for a more in depth discussion on the topic because they tend to just want the first answer to suffice.

They reason that #1 war is bad, #2 we are inhumanly treating iraqiis, #3 we have no way out, #4 terror has not gone down, #5 we should use diplomatic solutions

For your convience I'll point out a situation so you can relate this war with another conflict. Somalia

Well #1 is war is bad...because apparently war never solves anything and peace has. Oh really? Since when? Yes we have watch wars tear countries apart and put some into chaos and dictatorships. Have we watched that done with peace? No. Well I guess you win..except what about those dictatorships that were just adopted...ok yea there were a few werent there...like, oh I don't know, Saddam? hmm. How should we get rid of this guy then? Peace talks you say...hmm ok what do we tell him? "Saddam, now lets be reasonable...we put up all these UN embargos, can you please obey them? I know you havent for the last 8 years but please???" haha..right ok so that isnt working, i guess the only thing I can think of to overthrow a tryannical dictator who lets his son rap little girls and executes his own soccer team if they fail to do well at the olympics, the answer for gettign rid of him...im thinkin' war. What about the terror, the inhumanity, the no exit?

The year is 1994, the place is somalia...our wonderful leader Clinton has sent in troops to capture these Somalian bad guys...what happens? Black Hawk down...they are trapped, no way out, of course the UN doesnt really help, and these guys have free range on the americans who eventually get out. Clinton never takes responsibility and not a single dem was outraged then...why, because he is a dem...and the funny thing is if that hadnt happened, osama wouldnt have proven his point to terrorists. Did you know he was in Somalia training the grenade guys? This incident proved his points, rise of terrorism, and then 9/11

Hats off to you Clinton, so if you want to point fingers at terror rising, you should turn to the real culprite. If you want an example of actually doing somethign about terror, think about bush...

Oh yea, if you want a real grasp of the situation, watch blackhawk down, because you can never know the hell those guys went through

Well Shivos dead, the Pope is dead, Jesus died (but rose) Hmmm maybe there was a reason all these happened so close....To remind us!

Tuesday, March 22, 2005

Of course almost everyone has heard about the battle between terri shivo's family and her husband, but heres the untold story.

1. Terri Shivo's husband stands to gain money out of her death...but not life insurance as many think, but rather Terri's left over money from and HMO Malpractice suit. The purpose of the suit was to give Terrri enough money to live for 50 years after her incident. However, if the husband can have her killed, he can gain the remainder of the money, which is not his at all.

2. The judgement of the removal of the tube was based on heresay evidence. At no point during the suit did the husband mention that Terri apparently would not want to live that way... somethign that would have been vital during the suit. However, soem years later after they had won the sum of money for Shivo, he conveniantly recalled a time when she "would not want to live this way, she told me one day". This wasn't told to the family or to friends, just him...but remarkably he was only able to recall this on television.

3. Shivo's will states that she wants to live, yet she apparently told her husband she would not have in such a manner. The only time when her verbal will would take precidence is if the whole family agrees apon doing it as such, however, they did not, so legally, the tube should remain.

4. The family of the Shivo's have every right to try and keep her alive. Some may say she is just a corpse but the families religion and beliefs tell them otherwise. Consider this, if your son or daughter was in a state, would you pull the tube? How about if your beliefs/ gut instincts tell you she is still a person and not just a mindless corpse that just reacts? Also the government views her as more than a corpse considering it is the animation of her brain waves that makes her such.

5. I trust the family, not because they are religious or because they are the parents of her, but rather because they have nothing to gain out of the situation but that fact that they want what is best for their daughter. People say she feels no pain, then why is it that she must die? Because shes a burden to society? And the fact is she does feel some pains, and we plan on solving that by making her suffer through starvation? Her husband also has many other qualities and choices abotu him that makes him all the more suspicious, however, that is not important right now, because these are the main two, as well as the fact that he has another woman and will not divorce his wife because of the issue of money.

The main counter to the arguement about the husbands intrests is that his wife is dead to him and he is just collecting what is rightfully his. Whether his wife is truely dead, the money is not his at all, its shivos, and it was awarded to her for HER well being, not his. It was NOT an insurance policy.

Another thing was that he was offered 1 milllion by a lawyer to no long be the guardian of shivo. However, in accepting the money, it would have proved what he was after, besides, why would he have accepted the money, what he would have gotten from the death of shivo would be tax free.

Look over these things, and think well about who your political leaders support
